2020 Fundraising Events Cancelled
Following the recent developments around Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the recommendations by Public Health England, it is with deep regret that we have decided to cancel our 2020 fundraising events from now until September 2020.
Our teams here are working hard to ensure that the health and well being of our clients and staff take priority over everything else. There is no doubt that COVID-19 will have a significant impact on our operations and we will be following all national guidance carefully. We are also mindful of our wider responsibility to the NHS so must discourage all activity that could risk putting a greater burden on the health system.
We hope we will be able to run our Golf Day and Annual Lecture later in the year depending on how the national situation develops. We will review these two months prior to each scheduled event and keep you up to date.
As a charity, we are so grateful for your support and the hard work of our Fundraising Committee, who do such a brilliant job organising these events each year to support people struggling with addiction and women in the community with multiple vulnerabilities. Personally I will miss meeting many of you again to thank you for the support you give us year after year.
For those of you who have put down deposits or paid for tickets we will be in touch shortly to see how we can best refund you.
