Friends of our late Chair, Richard Lister, gathered at Stinchcombe Golf Club on 29th June for a commemorative fundraising golf event. Organised by Rhod Bradley Jones, they raised £1,000 to support families struggling with addiction. Despite the atrocious weather conditions, a great day was had by all and, fittingly, the winner was Richard's son, Rob Lister. CEO John Trolan thanked everyone, particularly Rhod who came up with the idea. John explained, "we also appreciate these opportunities to pause and remember the extraordinary contribution that Richard Lister made to The Nelson Trust." He reminded all Richard's friends that this was a great warm up for the Richard Lister Memorial Trophy on the 16th September at Minchinhampton Golf Club and he hoped to see them all there.
