Young Womens Justice Keyworker

Do you have a commitment to making a difference to women’s lives? Are you passionate about supporting young women in a holistic, women-centered, trauma-informed way to divert women away from the Criminal Justice System and to achieve long-term lasting change? We are looking for an experienced and empathetic person to support young women aged <24 who have been or are currently involved in the Criminal Justice System. This role will involve, partnership building and Key working. You will manage your own caseload, providing a range of support interventions to young women. The post involves providing, advocacy and advice, offering both one to one practical and emotional support and group interventions which address the needs of the women, with the aim of increasing opportunities for young women to access education, training, and employment. You will need to demonstrate good communication skills working with clients and professionals and will have a track record of working with young women with complex needs as well as a commitment to working within a women-centered service and to making a difference to vulnerable young women’s' lives.
Hours: Full time 35 hours per week (flexibility to work outside of working hours as required)
Holidays: 25 Days pro rata pa plus statutory
Salary: £19,000 - £21,000 pa dependant on experience
Pension: Auto Enrolment Pension (6% employer contribution)

9 Months Fixed Term Contract

Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres, this role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
