Women’s Recovery Keyworker (Female) – Gloucester

Do you have a commitment to making a difference to women’s lives? Are you passionate about supporting women in a holistic, women centred, trauma-informed way to establish and maintain wellbeing and recovery and to achieve long-term lasting change? As part of the exciting new partnership with Change Grow Live (CGL), Nelson Trust are recruiting for a female recovery keyworker who is passionate about supporting women. You will provide support for women in the community who were misusing substances and have completed a community treatment programme with CGL. The aim of this partnership is to provide 12 weeks of support to improve wellbeing, reduce social harms, maintain recovery from addiction and empowering women to access opportunities to reach their full potential. You will also be proactive in enhancing opportunities for women to access community resources for the health, wellbeing and recovery. We are looking for an experienced individual to provide assertive community-based support through 121 interventions and group-work.
Hours: Full Time 35 hours per week or Part-Time 17.5 hours per week
Holidays: 25 days holiday pa/pro rata plus statutory
Salary: £21,000 - £23,000 pa/pro rata dependant on experience
Pension: Auto enrolment pension (6% employer contribution)

** This is a 12 month fixed term contract**

Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Services this role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
