We are looking for a passionate and empathetic person to support in the development of a Women’s Responsive Liaison and Diversion Service, to be based primarily at Nelson Trust Women’s Centre, Swindon.
In partnership with AWP, the Nelson Trust are developing a gender responsive service for women identified as vulnerable who have come into contact with the criminal justice system from point of arrest. This role will involve project development, partnership building and one to one advocacy and support for women who are referred to the service by the Criminal Justice Liaison and Diversion Team. The post involves providing initial assessment, advocacy, advice and signposting support to women to break down barriers to achieve change.
You will need to demonstrate good communication skills working with clients and professionals and will have a track record of developing effective partnerships with specialist organisations in the local area as well as a commitment to working within a women centred service and to making a differences to vulnerable women’s' lives.

Full time post: 35 hours per week (flexibility to work outside of normal working hours as required)
Holidays: 25 days holiday pa plus statutory
Salary: £18.000 - £22,000 pa dependant on experience
Pension: Currently non-contributory scheme in operation (Nelson Trust contribute 6%) however subject to auto-enrolment legislation
