Are you passionate about leading and developing a dynamic and inspirational team at our Women’s Centre in Somerset? Are you dedicated to supporting women experiencing multiple disadvantage, diverting women away from the Criminal Justice System, and intercepting cycles of trauma and abuse? Are you passionate about empowering women to achieve their full potential? We are looking for a dynamic and committed Women’s Service Manager to lead our team in Somerset, manage the Women’s Centre in Bridgwater and contribute to the development and delivery of services across Somerset. The Service Manager will provide operational management of the Women’s Centre in Bridgwater and provide strategic oversight for the development of services in Somerset. The role will include ensuring standards are consistently met to deliver an excellent quality of service, that staff are managed effectively and supported with professional development, partnerships are established and maintained and budgets are appropriately managed. The service manager will line manager a small team of seniors and oversee a developing team of at least 15 staff members and be responsible for the contract management and service delivery of several funded projects. You will work alongside the Head of Women’s Community Services to contribute to the development and management of service delivery plans for all services. The Service Manager will act as an ambassadorial figure for the organisation, and will consistently work to represent the needs and experiences of women affected by the criminal justice system.
Hours: Full time 35 hours per week (flexibility to work outside of working hours as required)
Holidays: 25 Days pro rata pa plus statutory
Salary: £30,000 pa
Pension: Auto Enrolment Pension (6% employer contribution)

Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres this role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
