Perinatal Peer Support Keyworker

Are you passionate about supporting women who are experiencing a range of challenges (mental-health, substance misuse, domestic abuse) in the peri-natal period (Pregnancy – 2 years). Do you have direct experience of engaging and empowering women to make and sustain positive change? We have an exciting new position for an experienced keyworker to join our new peri-natal service. As a keyworker you will be responsible for managing a caseload of women in (Swindon or Wiltshire) undertaking comprehensive assessments of need and providing tailored packages of support to make and sustain positive change. The ideal candidate will be adept in engaging women and building trusting relationships, proactive and knowledgeable of wider support agencies. . Hours: 35 hours per week
Holidays: 25 days holiday pro rata pa plus statutory
Salary: £20,000 pa
Pension: Auto enrolment pension (6% employer contribution)

This position is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres this role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
