Partnership and Development Coordinator – Gloucestershire (Female)

Do you want to make a positive social contribution to the lives of women who are marginalised and who face a spectrum of multiple disadvantage? Nelson Trust deliver specialist services to women who are experiencing multiple, complex needs including women involved in the justice system and women who street sex work. We are seeking to increase revenue and new business opportunities as to develop our service offer for women in the area. We are looking for a highly-motivated creative individual who is an excellent communicator and relationship builder with a demonstrable track record of producing quality and compelling written materials and engaging presentations, if this sounds like you we’d love to hear from you. As fundraising and partnership coordinator you will be the go to individual within Gloucester Women’s Services working to develop and expand community services and fundraising income. With well-developed skills in communication and collaboration you will research, identify and contribute to statutory tender submissions and applications to grant-making trusts; run awareness raising and local fundraising events as well as develop and maintain relationships with people at all levels. If you are a highly productive, positive and energetic individual, naturally organised and an instinctively excellent communicator who thrives on being busy, thinking independently and working within a team then we would love to here from you. The post will be based in Nelson Trust Women’s Centre, Gloucester with travel to meetings and events where required, you will need to hold a full clean driving licence with access to a vehicle.
Hours: 35 hours per week (flexibility to work outside of working hours as required)
Holidays: 25 days holiday pa plus statutory
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 pa dependant on experience
Pension: Auto Enrolment Pension (6% employer contribution)

Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres this role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
