Partnership and Development Co-ordinator – Gloucester

Do you want to make a positive impact to the lives of women with multiple and complex needs? Nelson Trust deliver specialist services to women who are either in, or at risk of becoming involved in, the criminal justice system. We are seeking to increase revenue and develop new business opportunities to strengthen our services and to make ourselves available to more women that need our help. We are looking for a highly-motivated, creative individual who is an excellent communicator and relationship builder with a demonstrable track record of producing quality and compelling written materials and engaging presentations. As partnership and development coordinator you'll be responsible for the delivery of the Women’s Centre’s income generation campaigns including new business relationships, securing and stewarding patrons and corporate income. This role would suit either an experienced fundraiser with existing relationship building experience (e.g. corporate, major donor), or experience in sales/business development and looking for a change of direction. Most importantly, you'll have a genuine passion for helping women who access our service to have the opportunity to reach their individual potential. If you are a highly productive, positive and energetic individual, naturally organised and an instinctively excellent communicator who thrives on being busy, thinking independently and working within a team then we would love to hear from you. The post will be based in Nelson Trust Women’s Centre Gloucester with travel to meetings and events where required, you will need to hold a full clean driving licence with access to a vehicle.
Hours: 21 hours per week (flexibility to work outside of normal working hours as required)
Holidays: 25 days holiday pa pro rata
Salary: £23,000 pa pro rata
Pension: Auto enrolment pension (6% employer contribution)

Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres this role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
