Sex Worker Outreach Project Keyworker (Female)

Do you have a commitment to making a difference to women’s lives? Are you passionate about supporting women in a holistic, women centered, trauma-informed way to reduce the risk of exploitation and support women to achieve their full potential? We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and committed woman to support in the development and delivery of a specialist service for women at risk of exploitation, to be based primarily at our Women’s Centre in Swindon. You will be specifically working to engage and support female clients leaving HMP Eastwood Park returning to the Swindon community, who are effected by sex working in order to break the cycle of prison, addiction, sex working and trauma. You will be responsible for co-ordinating a multi-agency approach which will assess and support the identified needs of women working within the sex industry. The successful applicant together with partner agencies will establish regular street outreach sessions for the purpose of providing information and support to women and you will provide effective keyworker support that ensures structured contact is maintained with engaged service users. This is a challenging role which will present the right candidate with opportunities to make a difference and to develop a service to provide women with positive opportunities for change.
Hours: Full Time: 35 hours per week (flexibility to work outside of normal working hours as required)
Holidays: 25 days holiday pa plus statutory
Salary: £21,000 - £22,000 pro rata pa annum (dependant on experience)
Pension: Auto Enrolment Pension (6% employer/2% employee )

Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres this role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
