Night Support Worker

Do you have a commitment to making a difference to peoples lives, are you passionate about supporting people to achieve long-term change. We are looking for someone who has experience of working within a residential addiction treatment setting, who can demonstrate an empathy with our clients and possess the skills necessary to support and motivate our clients to develop and achieve their own recovery capital. The Night Support Worker will be responsible for supervising and encouraging the residents of their respective houses to maintain the spirit and culture of treatment and recovery at the Nelson Trust and to deal with any issues that may arise. This is to be achieved by being familiar with all house expectations and by participating in the induction and on-going training opportunities arranged by the Nelson Trust. Night workers are responsible for ensuring the security of the clients in the house overnight. Applicants should be comfortable with lone working and be confident to seek and give support to other lone working colleagues.
Hours: 16.15pm to 08.15am (sleeping in duties apply)
Holidays: 25 days holiday pa plus statutory
Salary: £17,500 to £19,500 per annum
Pension: Auto enrolment pension (6% employer contribution)
