The Hub Project is now looking for a Kitchen Assistant for its cafe in Gloucester City Centre.
The Hub Bistro is an established café which provides breakfast and lunches. Alongside this we also offer external catering to businesses in the form of buffets and catering events which include canapés.
The venue has a clear emphasis on health and wellbeing and will use fresh, local produce wherever possible. We are looking for dynamic individuals with a passion for food and love of working with people.
As the kitchen assistant you will be responsible for assisting in the day to day running of the kitchen. You will assist the head chef with daily food prep and with the upkeep of the cleanliness of the kitchen to ensure the delivery of high quality food.
Volunteer positions within the venue allows people in recovery from addiction to train in catering and hospitality in a working environment. We need someone who can assist with the training of volunteers and create an atmosphere that supports recovery, community, inclusivity and a healthy lifestyle.
Part time: 16 hours per week, to be worked flexibly
25 days holiday pro rata pa plus statutory
£8.25 per Hour
