Internal Training and Staff Development Worker

Location: Stroud
The Nelson Trust has become known for the quality of our work and ability to provide bespoke care and support services. We could not have achieved this if it was not for the incredible staff who work for us and it is vital that their training and development needs are supported thoroughly. We are therefore looking to recruit a uniquely motivated individual to maintain, develop and co-ordinate the delivery of our internal CPD program. You will need to be passionate about learning and development along with knowledge and understanding of the care and support sector. We are looking for someone with exemplary communication skills as the role requires extensive liaison across all of our services and departments. This exciting opportunity will give you the chance to be creative in meeting the different learning styles of our workforce along with the scope to enhance and expand our program of training. You will need to be a confident and capable public speaking, someone who can think on their feet and manage groups of people in both face-to-face and online training settings
Hours: 35 hours per week (Mon – Fri 09.00 – 17.00) (flexibility to work outside of normal working hours as required)
Holidays: 25 days holiday pa plus statutory
Salary: £23,000 per annum
Pension: Auto Enrolment Pension (6% employer contribution)
