HMP Eastwood Park – Group Interventions Facilitator

Do you have experience of group interventions or a passion to deliver psychoeducational and therapeutic groups to women in prison?

Do you have a commitment to making a difference to women’s lives?  Are you passionate about supporting women in a holistic, women centred, trauma-informed way to divert women from the Criminal Justice System and support women to achieve their full potential?

We are looking for a passionate and empathetic person to support in the delivery and development of a Women’s Responsive interventions and support service for women in HMP Eastwood Park.
At The Nelson Trust we are committed to the development of a gender responsive service for women experiencing multiple, complex needs in contact with the Criminal Justice System.  This role will involve a contribution to project development through the delivery of group interventions and one to one advocacy and support for women in HMP Eastwood Park. 

You will need to demonstrate good communication skills working with clients and professionals and will have a track record of delivering interventions to women as well as a commitment to working within a women centred service and to making a difference to the lives of women and their children.

Part time post:   14 - 18 hours per week with option to combine for full time
Holidays:    25 days holiday pa plus statutory bank holidays
                            Salary:   £19.000 - £21,000 pro rata pa                              
Pension: Currently non-contributory scheme in operation (Nelson Trust contribute 6%) however subject to auto-enrolment legislation

Note: For the right applicant there is an option to combine this post with the Bristol vacancy advertised to create a full time role of 35 hours
