Female Outreach Worker - Wiltshire

Do you have a commitment to making a difference to women’s lives?  Are you passionate about supporting women in a holistic, women centred, trauma-informed way to divert women away from the Criminal Justice System and to achieve long-term lasting change?

We are looking for a passionate and empathetic person to provide a range of 1:1 interventions and psychoeducational, Gender Responsive evidenced based therapeutic and accredited group interventions to women involved in the Criminal Justice system and women at risk of involvement.

You will need to demonstrate good communication skills working collaboratively with clients and professionals and will have a track record of developing effective partnerships with specialist organisations in the local area as well as a commitment to working within a women centred service and to making a differences to vulnerable women’s' lives.

This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1

Part time post:   21 hours per week (flexibility to work outside of normal working hours as required)
Holidays:    25 days pro rata pa plus statutory
                        Salary:   £19.000 - £21,000 pro rata pa                              
Pension: Auto Enrolment Pension in force (6% employer contribution)
Duration: Initial Fixed Term Contract – 18 Months
