This is an exciting new post which will be attached to our new Bristol Women’s Centre. The role is dedicated to supporting women in the Hartcliffe area who experience multiple disadvantages in their life to find support and solutions that enables them to lead the life they want for themselves. Are you an ambitious, creative and experienced keyworker who is passionate about supporting women empowering them to bring about lasting change in their lives? Do you have direct experience of engaging and empowering women to make and sustain positive change? The post holder will work on engaging women in the local community to find out what they need and design groups and deliver individual one to one sessions to support women to address their needs. As a keyworker, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of women, undertaking comprehensive assessments of needs and providing tailored packages of emotional and practical support empowering women to make and sustain positive change. This is an outreach service with support delivered from local locations, the Bristol Women’s centre and in women homes. This new service sits within the wider Women's Centre Team in Bristol, all working to support women and their families to live lives free of addiction, justice involvement, abuse and trauma. The ideal candidate will be adept in engaging and building trusting relationships with women, proactive, and knowledgeable of wider support agencies. Hours: 35 hrs
Holidays: 25 Days
Salary: £20,000 - £22,000
Pension: Auto enrolment pension (6% employer contribution)

Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres this role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
