Female Keyworker (Yeovil)

Are you an ambitious, creative and experienced keyworker who is passionate about supporting vulnerable women empowering them to bring about lasting change in their lives? Do you have direct experience of engaging and empowering women to make and sustain positive change? We have an exciting new position for an experienced keyworker to join our new National Lottery funded Empowering Change programme in Somerset. As a keyworker, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of women in Yeovil, undertaking comprehensive assessments of needs and providing tailored packages of emotional and practical support empowering women to make and sustain positive change. This is an outreach service with supported delivered from hub locations, women centre and women homes. This new service sits within the wider Women's Centre Team in Somerset, all working to support women and their families to live lives free of addiction, criminality, abuse and trauma. The ideal candidate will be adept in engaging and building trusting relationships with women, proactive, and knowledgeable of wider support agencies. Hours: Full Time: 35 hours per week to include, (flexibility to work outside of normal working hours as required)
Holidays: 25 days holiday pa plus statutory
Salary: £19,500 - £21,000 pa annum (dependant on experience)
Pension: Auto Enrolment Pension (6% employer/2% employee )

Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres this role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
