Do you have a commitment to making a difference to women’s lives? Are you passionate about supporting women in a holistic, women centred, trauma-informed way to divert women away from the Criminal Justice System and to achieve long-term lasting change?
We are looking for an experienced and empathetic person to support in the development of Women’s Community Services in Somerset.
This role will involve, partnership building and Keyworking. You will manage your own case load, providing a range of support interventions to identified women in the Weston-Super-Mare area who are engaged in serious and organised crime.
The post involves providing, advocacy, advice and support plans for women to break down barriers to achieve change, offering both one to one practical and emotional support and targeted interventions which address offending behaviour, trauma, substance misuse and safety with the aim of raising self-esteem, self-efficacy and enhancing social and recovery capital
You will need to demonstrate good communication skills working with clients and professionals and will have a track record of developing effective partnerships with specialist organisations in the local area as well as a commitment to working within a women centred service and to making a differences to vulnerable women’s' lives.
This is initially a 12month fixed term post
Full Time: 35 hours per week to include, (flexibility to work outside of normal working hours as required)
25 days holiday pa plus statutory
£19,000 - £21,000 pa annum (dependant on experience)
Auto Enrolment Pension (6% employer/2% employee )
