Female Keyworker (Exploitation and County Lines)

We are looking for a passionate and empathetic person to support in the development of a Women’s Responsive Service, to be based primarily at our new Nelson Trust Women’s Centre, Bridgwater. 
 
At The Nelson Trust we are committed to the development of a gender responsive service for women identified at risk of exploitation and who may be affected by County Lines This role will involve project development, partnership building and one to one advocacy and support for women who are referred to the service by partner organisations.  The post involves providing initial assessment, advocacy, advice and signposting to support women to overcome barriers to achieve full potential and lasting change.

You will need to demonstrate good communication skills working with clients and professionals and will have a track record of developing effective partnerships with specialist organisations in the local area as well as a commitment to working within a women centred service and to making a difference to the lives of women and their children.

Full time post:   35 hours per week (flexibility to work outside of normal working hours as required)
Holidays:    25 days holiday pa plus statutory
                                  Salary:   £19.000 - £21,000 pa                              
Pension: Currently non-contributory scheme in operation (Nelson Trust contribute 6%) however subject to auto-enrolment legislation
