Are you passionate about supporting women in a holistic, women centred, trauma-informed way to divert women away from the Criminal Justice System and to achieve long-term lasting change? As a keyworker, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of women, undertaking comprehensive assessments of needs and providing tailored packages of emotional and practical support empowering women to make and sustain positive change. The post involves providing, advocacy, advice and support plans for women to break down barriers to achieve change, offering both one to one practical and emotional support and targeted interventions which address offending behaviour, trauma, substance misuse and safety with the aim of raising self-esteem, self-efficacy and enhancing social and recovery capital The ideal candidate will be adept in engaging and building trusting relationships with women, proactive, and knowledgeable of wider support agencies. Hours: Full Time: 35 hours per week to include, (flexibility to work outside of normal working hours as required)
Holidays: 25 days holiday pa plus statutory
Salary: £19,000 - £21,000 pa dependant on experience
Pension: Auto Enrolment Pension (6% employer/2% employee )

 

This position is a 9 month fixed term maternity cover

Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres this role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
