Female Creche Worker

Wanted for our Women’s Centre based in Gloucester. The women’s centre is aimed at working with women with multiple and complex needs, some of whom may be substance misusers seeking support. A crèche worker is required to work at our centre. Are you flexible, reliable and able to take initiative? You must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 and have a minimum of 1 yrs post qualifying experience. An understanding of a play based approach to children’s learning and development and a sound knowledge of child development from 0 – 8 years. You will have excellent communication skills, friendly attitude, the ability to develop effective relationships with colleagues, parents and outside agencies, demonstrating warmth and respect for children, encouraging their interests by giving them opportunities to develop through social, physical and educational play.

Hours: Part-time post; 25 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

Holidays: 25 days holiday pro rata pa plus statutory

Salary: £9.50 per hour

Pension: Auto Enrolment Pension (6% employer/2% employee )
