The Clean Plate is a high street cafe and training hub for The Nelson Trust in Gloucester city centre that has established both an eat-in and takeaway trade. The café aims to provide high-quality training and volunteering opportunities to clients through a trauma-informed programme. As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the café working under the direction of the area manager. We are seeking an outgoing and positive individual with experience of working in a similar customer-facing environment with the ability to lead and inspire creating an atmosphere that supports recovery, community, inclusivity and a healthy lifestyle. If you have exceptional customer service, management and communication skills, with the attitude and passion to drive to succeed then this may be the role for you. The role is a one-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension depending on the achievement of agreed milestones.
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (with an expectation to work outside of normal working hours as required)
Holidays: 25 Days pro rata pa plus statutory
Salary: £10.50 per Hour
Pension: Auto Enrolment Pension (6% employer contribution)
