Accommodation Keyworker

Are you passionate about reducing homelessness for women in the justice system? We have an exciting new role based within our Bristol Women's Centre supporting justice-involved women to access and maintain stable accommodation and ongoing intensive holistic support to address needs. As an accommodation worker, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of women at risk of homelessness to gain and sustain stable accommodation. The ideal candidate will have strong advocacy skills, be proactive, be knowledgeable in regards to housing systems and adept in building positive relationships within landlords. If you want to be part of a high-performing service that uses a trauma-informed gender-responsive approach then we would like to hear from you. We also welcome applications from people with experience and transferable skills in areas of work.
Hours: 35 hrs
Holidays: 25 Days
Salary: £20,000 - £22,000
Pension: Auto enrolment pension (6% employer contribution)

**This is a 12 Month fixed term Contract**

Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres this role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).

 The Nelson Trust is committed to safeguarding, the successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced Children & Adults DBS check
