We invite all our friends and supporters to join us in celebrating our 30th Anniversary in 2015
The Nelson Trust launches the 30th Anniversary Appeal, Stand with Us, calling on everyone in Gloucestershire to give up alcohol for one evening, donating their savings so that more people can get the support they need. 30 years of passion for recovery comes to fruition – join us in donating to help more people get the treatment they need:
As many as one in three people will know someone with a drink problem that affects their life.
Rise to the challenge. Support those who struggle with addiction and stand with us. For more information visit www.nelsontrust.com/standwithus
Message from John Trolan, Chief Executive:
"In the past 30 years the Nelson Trust has supported thousands of people into recovery. We have worked with their families and friends. We have never tired of campaigning so that every addict and alcoholic who has a desire to free themselves from dependence, has the opportunity and support to do so and that everyone affected knows that there is hope.
We are inspired in our efforts by the recovery stories of our clients and we would not have achieved half of what we have without our many friends and supporters. In this, our anniversary year, we want to showcase the impact of our work in helping people to achieve recovery and secure the funds we need to ensure that we enter the next 30 years with the resources to build on our success".
If you would like to donate you can do so via Just Giving, JustTextGiving, Bank Transfer, Standing Order or by Cheque. For further details please visit our donate page. Please remember to include Gift Aid if you are a UK Tax Payer.
We have set ourselves a target of raising £100,000 in our anniversary year and we can only do this with your help. One way to do this is by attending, publicising, volunteering or sponsoring one of our 2015 events. These include:
The Richard Lister Memorial Golf Tournament - September 18th
If you would like to sponsor or volunteer at one of our events please get in touch by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 01453 732073
