We accept clients with a current or recent involvement in the criminal justice system and will integrate them into our residential treatment programmes. This can include clients joining our Women’s Programme and clients with a dual diagnosis.
We have a close working relationship with Gloucestershire Probation Trust and there are not usually any difficulties in arranging any required supervision for residential clients with the local Offender Management team.
We are able to manage clients who may be subject to electronic tagging as a condition of their early release from prison or other court-imposed curfew.
We are happy to undertake assessments with clients whilst they are on remand or serving a custodial sentence - this may be a telephone assessment in some cases.
We welcome referrals regardless of clients’ criminal justice backgrounds, provided that all relevant information is shared to enable thorough assessment and risk-management planning.
Through our ISIS Women’s Centres in Gloucester and Swindon we are also able to provide an extensive range of post-treatment support for women with a criminal justice history who remain resident in the county after completing treatment with us.
