The Nelson Trust is a registered charity that provides treatment, care and support for people with drug and alcohol problems. A truly rewarding place to work, our strengths are a dedicated team, passionate supporters and the achievements of our clients.
The Hub project runs community businesses across Gloucestershire to create widespread sustainable opportunities for people in recovery in relation to their employability and social situation.

Purpose

To support the Hub enterprises and Nelson Trust residential treatment with transport requirements.
To uphold and promote the principles of abstinent recovery from addiction.

Role information

Responsibility for supporting the transport requirements of Hub projects and residential treatment including, but not limited to:

• Driving treatment centre residents to meetings on weekday evenings
• Delivering buffet orders for the Hub Cafe
• Transporting clients / volunteers to one off events

Maintain a proactive relationship with customers, volunteers, clients and members of the recovery community to promote The Trust as a welcoming and supportive environment for people in recovery from addiction

Volunteers are expected to participate fully in training courses provided.
All personnel are to be responsible for own safety and others affected by their activities and to ensure adherence to the Nelson Trust policies and procedures regarding Health & Safety.

Full Clean Driving Licence Essential
