The Hub Project is now looking for a Cafe Assistant Manager for its premises in Gloucester City Centre which has the scope to produce 50+ covers per day. The café has a clear emphasis on health and wellbeing and will use fresh, local produce wherever possible. A training kitchen within the bistro allows people in recovery from addiction to train in catering and hospitality in a working environment.
As the Assistant Manager you will have operational responsibility for the Cafe
• Lead, develop, and inspire your team
• Full control of stock and food costs
• Drive sales and maximise profits
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Work towards agreed targets and KPIs'
• Maintain company systems & procedures
Full time post: 40 hours per week (flexibility to work outside of normal working hours as required)
Holidays: 25 days pro rata pa plus statutory
Salary: £20,500 - £21,500 pa dependant on experience
Duration: Initially 1 years fixed term post
Pension: Currently non-contributory scheme in operation (Nelson Trust contribute 6%) however subject to auto-enrolment legislation
